At PeriVision, we combine AI algorithms, virtual reality and cloud computing to build the next generation systems to test visual function in glaucoma patients.
As UI & Graphic Designer you will help shape our visual identity across our products , collaborating with the entire team, and contributing to our front-end (web application and VR-headset interface).
Your responsibilities and challenges:
– Develop & organize a UI components library.
– Prepare to export the designed graphic assets into a format usable by software engineers (understanding common web file formats, compression, screen resolutions).
– Participate in UX (User Experience) design, studies and testing to support our “client-driven” approach and review implemented solutions to improve ineffective / counter-intuitive elements.
– Participate in Agile Scrum meetings typical for software engineering.
Your expected current knowledge and skills:
– Natural predisposition and interest in designing UI components where user needs and functionality drive design.
– Proficient knowledge of 2D graphic design applications (Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop, Affinity Designer, etc.)
– Good knowledge of computer skills in importing, exporting and transferring files.
– Nice-to-have: 3D modeling, animation / rendering skills (Autodesk 3DStudio, Autodesk Maya).
