We are looking for a pottery studio assistant for our studio in Zurich.
Main tasks:
– General supervision of the studio during the opening hours
– Answer regarding the functioning of the studio, clay/glazes and material
– General cleaning and tidying after the workspace hours
– Loading and unloading the pottery kiln
– Clay recycling
– Finishing student’s creations (trimming and glazing)
– Packaging of finished work
– Notify customers when the pick-up of their work is possible
– Cashing material fee
– Answer general email enquiries
– Manage bookings
Requirements:
– English (very good knowledge), German (basic understanding – good to have)
– Experience in working with clay
– Working fast and in a organized way
– Pro-active and positive attitude
– Good communication skills and like to share ideas
Workload: 20%, with the possibility of extending the working hours
Starting date: to be defined
Salary: hourly wage
