Hello all,
I’m looking for a place to live!
I’m a 24 year old female from southwest Virginia, USA. I worked 2 years in Switzerland, I lived in Zug with 3 flatmates from Germany and I made lots of Swiss friends. I learned to ski, went to community cooking events in Uri, lots of hiking and Zurich together events. Now I’m going to study at ZHdK, MA Interaction Design.
-My passions-
Becoming the best version of myself and learning to love the challenges of life.
I believe my freedom is my ability to choose my challenges. Life is hard. Being rich, being poor, being fit, or being fat are all hard in different ways. So for now, I just keep choosing to do hard things. As long as I’m choosing my challenges, I feel free.
-Living together-
Health and fitness and a sense of community are very important to me. In Switzerland this sense of community also involves learning German. My goal is to become fluent. I enjoy cooking together with roommates and chatting about daily challenges and longterm goals. I definitely like to have time to myself to recharge and I like to live in a decently clean and not overly cluttered space.
It would be nice if my flatmates also enjoyed some similar activities, hiking, skiing, camping, exploring local markets, experiencing Swiss festivals, etc. Plants and nice lighting make me feel at home.
-Location-
I am hoping to find a place within 20 minutes transit from Zurich HB or near Thalwill as I plan to travel often into the mountains and eventually work in Kanton Schwyz.
