Building upon the position paper of 2017, we have restated in the three points below how restructuring to a major_minor model would be beneficial to students:

  • Flexibilisation, in order to increase the existing flexibility with GLV's and Z-modules, each major must be combinable with open minors from all departments.
  • Part-time studies are being introduced; fixed days per week should be free of tuition for part-time students so they can focus the other part of their time on their careers and families.
  • Minors at other universities, minors and subsidiary subjects at other universities should be able to be credited.

The position paper of 2017 still applies.
