My name is Orestis, and I am coming to Zürich to start my Piano Chamber Music Masters at the ZHdK. I am currently looking to find a nice group of people to share a flat with! I do fulfill WOKO and JUWO requirements and my budget is around 750 CHF per month, but it is flexible. I am hoping to find a place that is maximum 30-35 minutes away from Toni Areal by public transport or bike. I would be willing to sign a contract/move in asap but my move in dates are also flexible and later in August or early September would also work for me!
A bit about me:
I am 26 years old and I am from Cyprus. Aside from Music I am really passionate about photography, videography, audio engineering and cooking (I am very good with Mediterranean food). These are my main hobbies but I have a lot of other smaller hobbies that I occasionally do to keep things interesting. I am currently doing an intensive course in German and I am around A2 level and quickly improving, but I am fluent in Greek and English. Generally, my days are quite busy as I have to study a lot, so I will be spending the biggest part of my day studying at the university, but you’ll find me home relaxing most of the evenings. During the weekends I like to go outdoors and make use of any good weather I get(I know its rare but I try to stay positive). My weekend activities include photography walks, cycling, hiking and meeting friends. I am clean, friendly, easy going and almost always up for any social activities. I have had a lot of experience flat sharing as I have spent 5 years studying in the UK and 4 years in Hungary and I have had many different flatmates during this time. I have never had problems with any of my past flatmates and I think that is because of good communication skills and the ability to compromise and be flexible. I am looking for an uncomplicated and fun WG experience and hoping that I will make some good friends along the way. I can bring a good vibe to the flat, and also, I am very good with problem solving (especially all DIY stuff).
