Last semester, we, as your student representatives, asked for your opinions on various topics. First of all, a big thank you for your numerous responses! This allowed us to gain valuable insights for our future work.

Last semester, we, as your student representatives, asked for your opinions on various topics. First of all, a big thank you for your numerous responses! This allowed us to gain valuable insights for our future work.
Here we would like to briefly present the results of the survey:
First of all, we were very pleased to see that you perceive us as your student representation and advocate for your interests. We received many responses indicating that you appreciate our work – this means a lot to us. At the same time, your feedback made us aware that we can improve our communication, as many of you see little of what we are doing concretely. Some of you criticized that we do not solicit your opinions enough and are rarely in direct contact with you. We take this feedback seriously, and we will make an effort to better connect with you.
You were also able to share a few important issues with us; we are happy to take these on board. This includes, among other things, the desire for a quiet room where one can retreat or work calmly in the always lively buildings of the ZHdK. We take this request to heart and will do our best to implement it.
You also wish for more transparency and better accessibility from the university management – a particularly important point in relation to the current austerity measures. This is also a central concern for us, and we will continue to demand transparent communication and open discussions with the students from the university management.
Regarding the austerity measures, which were the focus of the survey, it became clear once again that many of you are concerned that the quality of education and equal opportunities may continue to suffer. We share this concern – both as students and as your representation – and that is precisely why we will remain particularly persistent on these two points.
Thank you to everyone who participated in the survey. Thanks to your feedback, we can incorporate your needs and wishes into our planning for this year.
Over and out,
